THE VARIETY OF ARTISTIC ACTIVITIES AT SUNRANXX

The SUNRANXX FESTIVAL & MARKET in Cunit exploits color and creativity with its space dedicated to the visual arts: murals, workshops and exhibitions

The SunRanxx Festival, which is held this August in Cunit, not only focuses on music and the performing arts, but also dedicates a prominent space to the visual arts, turning the promenade into a vibrant and participatory open-air art gallery.

One of the star activities is the Mural Jump, a collective performance that will feature more than 10 visual artists working live on large panels (3×2 m and 2×2 m), creating original works during the festival. The artists will be MATEO LARA, DMAC, TOPE, MANEL CATLLÀ, MARCEL ITURRIETA, ALBERT CASTRO, JOTA, CALDE, DUDA LOZANO, CRETO and EL SILLÓN IMAGINARIO. The artist INK, known for his urban interventions, will surprise the audience with a special live action: the painting of a real car.

At the same time, the festival will host a painting and sculpture exhibition with works by different local and emerging artists, offering a plural and contemporary look at the current art scene. Some of the exhibitors will be: MARIA MOR, SARA SAMPER, ABRIL CASTANYER, JÚLIA MORA, LOLI VELÁZQUEZ, PEDRO PAREDES and ADRU SCULPTURES.

For creative spirits, SunRanxx also offers a varied offer of art workshops open to everyone, face painting and a participatory mural. It will feature workshops on:
Screen printing: experimenting with colors and printing your own t-shirt, which you can take home as a gift.
Ceramics: for modeling and creating small, unique figures.
Mini macramé: an artisanal technique with threads to make decorative pieces.
Artisan soaps: where you can learn to make soap in a natural and personalized way.
Circus and aerials: we will test your skills in aiming, coordination, balance and agility by doing acrobatics!

With this commitment to participation, experimentation and dialogue with the public space, SunRanxx reaffirms its pluri-artistic essence, fostering the connection between the public and contemporary creation. All this, in an unparalleled setting: in front of the sea, in Cunit.
