David Peña, visual artist, 26 years old, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
My artistic journey began a decade ago in the world of graffiti. Over time, especially during the pandemic, when I couldn’t go out to paint walls, I began to explore drawing and figurative painting, a lifelong interest.
Since then, my artistic practice has evolved toward a more introspective and symbolic expression. Graffiti has become another tool.
I use painting as a means of escape, self-discovery, and personal reflection, but also as a way to express my vision of the conflicts and problems in our society. Through my works, I seek to represent what I think and feel, giving shape to my inner world and my external perspective.
