Maria Mor

I am an artist and teacher, born on March 28, 1996. I trained in Fine Arts and Figurative Arts at the Barcelona Art Academy, and I also hold a Master’s degree in Teacher Training.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to participate in various exhibitions, including the exhibition of outstanding final degree projects at “Sense títol: Kantor-I,” organized by the University of Barcelona in 2019, and my participation in the “Google Cloud” exhibition at the Mobile World Congress in 2023.
I have also exhibited in venues such as the Mr Toolip gallery and the Real Círculo Artístico de Barcelona. I currently combine my artistic practice with teaching, two areas that nourish each other and form the core of my vocation.

Statement: I conceive art as a path back to oneself. My artistic practice is born from the vital need to understand myself and to give visual form to that which often has no words. I paint, draw, and create as a form of emotional therapy, not only to heal my own wounds but also to connect with the universal human experience. Through my work, I explore emotions such as vulnerability, loss, nostalgia, and love—not from a distance, but from a deep, shared experience. For me, art is a silent language that opens windows to the interior, recognizes the other, and generates spaces where sensitivity and introspection are legitimate and necessary.
