Sara Samper
I am a figurative artist with over seven years of training in artistic disciplines. I am currently studying Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona, where I continue perfecting my technique and exploring new ways of expressing emotions, thoughts, and sensations through painting and drawing.
Throughout my career, I have participated in small exhibitions in my hometown, sharing my artistic vision with the local community. Inspired by artists such as Guillermo Lorca, Amaya Gurpide, and Natalia Segovia, my work seeks to balance technical control with the spontaneity of the medium, creating a visual language that resonates with introspection and the world around us. I am inspired primarily by everyday life, figuration, and sometimes surrealism. I seek to work with materials that can add value to the piece within its purpose, while learning to control the materials to gain agility with them. These materials include oil, gouache, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, and graphite, on paper, canvas, or wood.
